The Star Wars Trilogy is the number one favorite among DVD purchasers and has been called the most anticipated DVD release. It contains all three Star Wars movies, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Bonus features contain commentary by George Lucas, Carrie Fisher, Irvin Kershner, Dennis Muren (visual effects) and Ben Burtt (sound design).
To prepare for the DVD release, director George Lucas made minor changes to two of the movies. In Empire Strikes Back, Ian McDiarmid (the Emperor) replaces Clive Revill. In Return of the Jedi, Lucas added Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) to a scene.
